[MUSIC PLAYING] Hi. This is Doctor Adrian, M.D. A frequent question I get is why our supplements? Why a professional grade supplement? Well, there's a difference, actually. When tested, about one-third of over the counter supplements have little or no active ingredient in the bottle. That's because there is no FDA regulation and monitoring of the manufacturing process. Many health food store and non-professional grade supplements are made by contract manufacturing companies who will make the products for the brand name. The actual brand name may never actually touch a raw material or have any involvement in the actual manufacturing process. They buy the ingredients, they essentially push the paper and pay the bills to make the products happen. The professional grade products have their own manufacturing facilities such as Thorne and Ortho Molecular Products. They make their own products. They test the raw materials beforehand, and they test the product after manufacturing for both purity and potency. Occasionally I will have an herb that I cannot get from a professional manufacturer because there is no pure her available in the world. This may be due to solvent contamination and other reasons. But you'll see that the Herb is available on the non-professional market. My products are hypoallergenic. They have no unnecessary binders and excipients, so they are hypoallergenic. This improves absorption as well. When you buy a professional grade product, you're guaranteed purity, you're guaranteed content, you're guaranteed to get the most effective herbal extracts that have the highest percentage of active ingredient, you're guaranteed to have a hypoallergenic, well-absorbed product. I find that my products work. I have patients who will come in and try, say, my prostate remedy, and they'll say this one works, Doc. They can tell a difference. When patients change from one product to another and they see a difference, this tells me as a physician that this must be a more effective product.
